Nick studied Commerce at University College Dublin and has spent most of his career working first as a management accountant and then in financial services. In 2010, his passion for property and business led him to founding Barnett Developments with the vision of building homes he would love his children to live in. Nick is passionate about his family, rally driving, turning disused properties into beautiful homes, and housing the homeless.

Lorna’s career began with the study of law at University College Dublin. She later switched paths and qualified as a Special Needs and Montessori teacher. After a spell working in Tokyo, she moved to the UK and set up two private pre-schools, both achieving Outstanding reports from Ofsted. Lorna has now joined Barnett Developments, bringing a fresh approach and a wide range of skills to the business. Lorna loves art and has a real flair for interior design.

Richard has over 25 years’ experience in property, in both the commercial and residential markets. At Barnett Developments, he oversees all aspects of projects from acquisition through to completion. Richard has a particular interest in working within a heritage framework, specialising in sympathetic restoration of listed buildings. Richard is a keen car and motorbike enthusiast and loves to spend time in the Mediterranean.

Neil qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 and has held board level positions in SME companies since 1998. He has been involved in the construction sector since 2003, having played a significant role in a number of financing initiatives, including Private Equity buyouts, and M&A transactions. Neil is responsible for sourcing finance for Barnett Developments’ various schemes, and for developing Management Information to assist in decision-making. Neil lives in Cheltenham, enjoys skiing and is an avid football fan.

Adam studied medicine at Cambridge and Oxford and currently works as an anaesthetist at Whipps Cross University NHS Hospital and The Lister Hospital, Chelsea. He has worked with Barnett Developments since 2017, focusing on long-term business strategy, fundraising, and brand development. He is also a medical advisor to the HALO Trust, and is writing his second book, a science fiction novel. Adam enjoys writing, travel, and most of all his family.

Mike studied Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh and joined Barnett Developments in 2021. He works across all areas of the business from assessing, developing and project management of new schemes, to liaising with business partners and clients. Mike has a particular interest in sustainable housing and creating luxurious yet practical homes with minimal carbon footprints. He loves the outdoors and is a keen skier and climber.

Rosie is a medical doctor, holding two degrees from Nottingham University. She has worked with several startups such as Babylon Health (listed on the NYSE in 2021). She was selected to be a member of McKinsey’s Next Generation Women Leaders program, and is a venture capital investor. Rosie works with the Barnett Developments team on strategic development and investments. She loves hiking and is a budding wine enthusiast.

David is Head of Development and a Partner at TLT. He has extensive experience advising residential and commercial developers, trader and investor developers, public bodies and occupiers across a broad public and private sector portfolio. He advises on development agreements of all types, from strategic site acquisition through to the development phase. He takes the lead on major urban regeneration, joint-venture and development projects, working closely with TLT’s specialist planning, tax and construction teams. David advises Barnett Developments as an external Legal Counsel.

Steve worked in the world of finance as an IFA for 20 years. He then qualified as an NLP practitioner and changed his career, now working with Barnett Developments as a specialist coach. His work focuses on people operations, leadership strategy and robust business growth. Steve is a black belt in Karate and is a science fiction enthusiast.
